Arepa Cafe ★★ 1/2

Price: Under $15

Was in the area and decided to try this place for lunch with a friend. Its a nice place eat, they have a projector playing silent movie clips on the wall and nice lighting fixtures. Very simple and clean.

I think I had the grilled chicken breast at $8.50, chicken was wrapped in cornmeal bread with tomatoes and lettuce inside. You are given 3 sauce options to add as well. If in the area, its worth trying out. Service is nice if a bit slow sometimes.

Best for casual lunches with coworkers and friends.

  1. I’m curious to find out what blog system you’re utilizing? I’m having some small security problems with my latest blog and I’d like to find something more safeguarded. Do you have any recommendations?

    • Hi! I am using wordpress.com. What kind of security problems are you facing? Is it just spam? If so, you can use a spam filter program. WordPress and blogger.com both have it but I am not sure whether they are free options or not. There are also alternative programs too.

I should also actually be looking more into this! Haha. So if I do use one, I will try and let you know. As a reminder though, please send an email to torontofoodie.info@gmail.com.

      Thanks

  2. Awesome blog! Do you have any hints for aspiring writers? I’m hoping to start my own blog soon but I’m a little lost on everything. Would you suggest starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many options out there that I’m completely overwhelmed .. Any ideas? Thank you!

    • Thank you and I am flattered you asked me for advice! I don’t know if I can give you much constructive advice as I think of myself as a novice blogger though. Haha.

I was in a similar dilemma as you when I first started. What host site should I use? WordPress, Blogger, etc. I decided to go with WordPress because its just more professional looking and my content has more writting then photographs.

If you are just starting off and trying to decide on WordPress or a paid option. I say it would depend on your long term goal. Are you trying to establish a professional/business site and want it copyright protected? Or are you just blogging for fun/casual everyday use? If its for business and/or if you want to protect your brand, go with the paid domain. If its for fun/casual use, go with just the free WordPress version. You can always upgrade from the free version to paid so try it out if you are still unsure.

I hope I was helpful. If you have any other questions, please let me know.
